Climate Change

In my early life I was excited to investigate questions relating to sea turtle's "lost years" and temperature dependent sex determination is affected by anthropogenic climate change.

Evolution & Morphology

During my time at the University of Michigan I have investigated evolutionary and museum-based questions. I have worked extensively with CT, skeletal morphology, sexual dimorphism, and specifically sea snakes.

Evolution & Ontogeny

I would love to investigate the evolutionary significance of the few but notable cases of reptiles adapting to marine environments; sea snakes, sea kraits, sea turtles, and marine iguanas. Understanding morphological changes compared to other relatives, documenting ontogenetic shifts in morphology, diet, and behavior.

Population Ecology

I am also interested in differences in behavior, diet, and morphology across populations of species with unique distribution patterns like aquatic turtles in arid environments, snakes across islands, and box turtles across rivers.
